we create havoc in the theatre when we see our matinee idol Kamal on screen. he is not like others who just swing their cigarette to attract their audience. every scene our thalaivar acts is a treat for us. watch our fans galatta celebration in you tube. search for Kamal fans celebration.

Im a BIG fan of Kamal sir.I wish him all the best for the success of this movie. His Anbesivam and Virumandi are topclass movies in the past decade.Hope he comes out with another classic movie this time.In my opinion the only Indian actor who deserves to win an Oscar Award for acting is Padmashri Kamal. I think this film will not only become a hit in Telugu and Tamil but also in Hindi like his earlier hits Chachi 420, Pushpak and Hindustani. Welcome back sir.

east or west kamalhaasan is the best. not even hundred amitabh bachchans can make a Kamal. he is the universal star who can entertain the masses and the classes alike. india might have numerous superstars but the only star who is a master actor-producer-director-choreographer-singer-writer-lyricist is Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. Thaliva unna asachchukka oru kombanaalum mudiyaadhu.

Please do not create north indian-south indian divide here. We are not talking about Danush or Rajinikanth for that matter.

The same two or three persons are repeatedly posing messages here just to tarnish the image of Kamal. Someone said Kamals movies have given him a headache. Yes his movies make u think a lo. they arent mindless movies which make u cringe in your seat. Dasavatharam might have been torn apart by the critics upon release. But the movie made a whopping hundred crore profit for its producer Aascar Ravichandran. Not only in the south, it had a good box office run overseas too. What about his Unnaipol Oruvan which had no songs or romance but still managed to make a handsome profit?

Re: movie is going to flop...contentwise it will be zero
by vijay karthik on May 02, 2012 11:47 PM
Hope your predictions dont come true. What were his last movies? Manmadhan Ambu the one released 2 yrs back was the only flop. Unnaipol Oruvan made in a shoestring budget made 28 crores profit. Dasavatharam, though was not appreciated by critics became an all time blockbuster in the south. Just dont say something without knowing the facts.

Re: Brilliant movies are only from kerala

OK..Malayalam cinema produced some cult movies and bold themes till 90s..i wholly agree...But recently they try to ape the commercial route taken by tamil & telugu films, and they are failing miserably...

And u r one of the many non tamil ppl who have seen few masala films of Rajinikanth...rajini started as a villain and then played hero in many off-beat movies before his image makeover, he is a very good actor if not brilliant...

Dhanush's rcent films like Mayakkam enna and 3 are message oriented films..except aadukalam his recent films are not gr8 but are definitly not crass masala type...

I dunno abt Puneet, but Chiru also did good films before moving to superheroism...

You have mentioned few mallu movies and i can name more tamil and telugu movies recently...there are excellent directors like selvaraghavan, Bala, AR murugadoss, Vasantha baalan etc who r not intrrested in masala movies and so is the new age audience...
