I agree with amir khan that awards are fixed. thats true awards are fixed and if mahesh bhatt has his way dont be surprised if sunny leone wins a national award next year....India is on the right path.......DOWNWARDS

All the Khans wear b@ngle$. Will any of them give up their boring vanity roles and show the guts to take up such risky roles like what Vidya did - playing m0ther to Bachhan in Paa, or the d1rty pic role. She is a real gamechanger in Bollywood today.
Cudnt watch the movie even for 30mnts...she cudnt be compared to silk in anyway,,,and she wasnt looking good as well,,,horrible choice for national award....it only reflects 2 things,,no possibly good actor for this year...and the jury head shows her true colors...

This picture and Vidya not only won the national awards, but all other possible awards including filmfare award this year. Everyone cannot be wrong. You may not like, but that is OK.

For your info, Silk Smitha was not all good looking neither she was good in acting. She was famous only for items song like dances in 80s Hindi movies.

I would say the children of Chillar Party deserves the award more than anyone else. The film was superb with excellent moral values and the script very tight for director to play with the children. I dont know why they have to categorise as children film and give them a different award.
Some of these movies like Chiller Party, Mr and Mrs. Iyer, etc are not noticed by many, but whoever see that will appreciate them well.

FYI,Konkan sen sharma won National award as best actress for Mr and Mrs iyer.Then how can you say its unnoticed???
No doubt about it..she is the best actress in India at the moment. This award was justified, and for once we can say that a bollywood award is jsutifieda t the nationals. It was a joke when the likes of ramphal and kangna and saif won it. Priyanka deserved it for Fashion, and vidya balan deserved it even more for her fab acting.Good work judges!!

it was a award winning character.. any body can act it. infact raima sen would have done it with more ease.. its the character which fetched her the award. no big deal!
