Why Mr Banerjee is overly possessed with kalki performance? She bears a dazed,haunted and panicked look thru the entire length of the movie.Even a contrived liplock with the leader doesnt establish a head over heels love relationship. Rather than defending the lady in question he should defend the movie which was absolutely boring in first 30 minutes.A faulty and abstract storytelling coupled up with erratic screenplay doesnt add up to great cinema. lastly why The director is literally begging for accolades and praises.this is outright cheap.
I am really frustrated seeing regional bashing in every rediff forums...Everyone get slammed by a Tamil Manager and then come and smash Tamilians in every article written about Tamils.You get cheated by Marwari Businessman and then bash entire marwari community in any article written in line of Marwari....This is rediculous...Please Grow Up and see the WHOLE INDIA....INDIA IS NO LONGER DEVIDED BY REGION OR RELIGION...WE ARE DEVIDED NOW BY MONEY AND BANK BALANCE....I have seen good,bad and ugly people in every comunity/caste/religion so far and there is no way to generalise any community....Dont ever forget we are Indian and more you push someone or label some community more you are bring your end closer to you....We cant survice alone in Already devided India...

Please also note it down,I have nothing against Bengali people.I am an admirer of Swamy Vivekanand,Netaji_Shubhash,Satyajit Rai or Uttam_Kumar.
But I cannot accept every_crap just because some bengali_is associated with it because I view it from an Indian perspective.I loved Sujoy's Kahaani does not mean I must like every movie directed by some one from Bengal.It is simply not done.
And why you have to name it Shanghai ? Just to copy hollywood movies names such as Shaghai Nights or Shanghai ? Your movie name should have been Slumdog Housedreamer.That would have been a better choice and would have given an instant Oscar entry.
