Guys, I think Rohit Shetty knows the pulse of Indian audience and is therefore giving successfull films one after another. He is honest enough to admit that he cannot make films like TZP. So, one should walk in theatre to watch his movie only for entertainment.
How dare Rohit Shetty remake such a classic comedy Golmaal (old one) and transform into a loudy mess :x The trailer is loud and very over-the-top.. The dialogues of Devgan not at all funny..Probably that is what majority of Indian mass wants otherwise how come trash films like Housefull,Rowdy Rathore,Ready & other Shetty,Sajid Khan films becomes Hit

Hello Mr. Intellectual. Movies like Dhobi Ghat are made to satiate you. Like Mr. Raja, stop taking this 'holier than thou' attitude! All Rohits movies are blockbusters so far. Not a single failure.

What is horrible is the pride that people take in patronizing such brainless crap... just like the other guy who replied above... This intellectual decadence and tastelessness is the reason why this country is going downhill...

Exactly. Instead of trying to improve, they take pride in their ignorance and try to pull others down to their level.

Commercially hit are usually duds which people forget after seen them once while Classics are usually commercially duds remembered over a lifetime. We have a choice....

as he said u guys chill. 90% of the movies are made to make money not to satisfy some intellectual thirst. 90% of the people watch movies to get some entertainment. Movie industry is not social service industry. people who made so called intellectual movies are begging for survival now. so just chill and shake a leg for shiela ki jawani or dinka chika.

Housefull, Rowdy Rathore and Ready all movies are good ok.. I agree that Bol Bacchan is not real remake, it is very different than original, but you can say film is not good before watching it..

Cinema means entertainment. Movies like Kahaani is doing well not becoz it's a sensible and path breaking but it also had an entertainment value. If you can sit thru the movie than it is good. People who present art movies with dose entertainment also gaining monies. Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Bhardwaj are also giving hits so cinema is not dead but you are dumb.

Agreed..Im sure some great releases like Shanghai & Gangs of Wasseypur won't be as big hit as Rowdy Rathores :( [since Paan Singh tomar, kahaani, vicky donor has become reasonable Hits & appreciated by many..atleast i want both Shanghai & Wasseypur to fall on those categories..we should recognise and respect talents like Anurag Kashyap,Dibakar Banerjee,Vishal Bhardwaj,Shimit Amin]

its silly to compare such small budget films and their business with that of Ready and Bodyguard. The 3 Khan's and some other movie houses are granted a huge first three day opening because of their sheer marketing reach and brand. Films like Kahaani do not have this. and Vicky Donor just does not have it. also, whats the point of comparing Multiplex audience with single screen masses of UP and Bihar. Its not USA! while i personally detest particularly Salman movies and brand, lets face it. He has an audience for it!
