we hardly know him as a person. but he was a superb actor and entertained us for years. his personality, dialogue delivery was mesmerising. he was not a superstar for nothing. we still don't believe that he is no more. we will remain in hearts of millions of people forever
Natural actor, not like nowadays overacting. Now beating 100 people, surviving after shot 10 times, and beating the villain. Bollywood has become inane.
RK and AB almost strated their Movie carier almost same time and their age is also same but RK got got very fast success between 1969 to 1973 he gave 15 hits in a row which is still a bollywood record which no one can break. But in 1973 after movie Namak Haraam, Big B already shown Rajesh Khanna that a Actor is born and after 1975 Hit Zanjeer, Angry Young Man, Amitabh Bachchan was born after that rest is History.

As far as comedy is concerned Rajpal Yadav is the best.

Mohanlal can beat AB hands down in comdey and serious roles. AB is not even close in these 2 categories.

thats why he is a leading hero in films when Rajesh Khanna's daughters has taken retirement. Rajesh khanna was very good but AB is only one.
the movie and it was a very good movie .Perhaps Indrani Mukherjee as Heroine ,may be one the very few.There were a couple of outstanding songs and Music was very good . Like the way Indians choose their elected members which are totally a rotten stuff ,their taste for movies is also rotten like take a movie called Body Guard it was a down right Sh** the hero suffering from serious case of lies but it was hit.
It was nominated for Oscars but the film prints diidnt reach on time & Indias nomination was rejected.The young kid was again seen in 70 flick Kati Patang
He was an average actor ... He started behaving in real life also in same as manner as in Pictures....he allowed himself surrounded by Chamchas.He proved himself abnormally immatured ...

I observer its healthy change and adaptability which makes Stars or Super Stars... that's how, AB, SRK, in south Rajanikanth, Chiranjeevi became stars.
Unfortunately, RK was rigid, and tried to carry on with that romantic hat for too long, which miserably failed after few years.

his author is trying to defame Khanna. Just consider the logic - Khanna despite being the highest paid actor was appraoched by producers again and again thats the reason he has 106 solo hero films and only 22 muti star films.He holds record for max films as solo lead hero author backed roles.Producers never shied away. Plus each producer and director has repeated Khanna in 3 films minimmum.His filmography from 1966-1991 proves a lot. He has min 2 films releasing every year from 1969-1991. He has 95 box office hits and got the best music because he used to sit for music sessions.Thats possible only when you are liked by all and respected for your acting skills.RK was very humble and infact generous. Poeple have taken bunglows, cars from him and inudustry people have praised him for being so humble - Khayyam, Raza Murad, Amitabh etc in interviews.Also Amitabh just did angry young man films. Khanna's fimography shows he has done wide varity of films of many genres and achieved success. Romance was just an element in Khanna's films but each film of his was of different genre.Avatar was remade as Baghbhan, Anokha Rishta remade as Lamhe,Nishabd and Sachca Jhuta as Don. Go and See Redrose, Aaj Ka M.L.A Ram Avatr, Babu, Tyaag, Amardeep, Awaaz, Bawarchi etc-- were they romantic films ? they were each of different genres. Khanna has 153 films in 25 years and 128 as lead hero (106 solo hero films and only 22)Amitabh mostly has muti star films only.RK DID MEANINGFUL MOVIES
