no one can forget in 1991 laksabha election advani was declared winner against rajesh khanna by 1500 votes. Clearly a case of making advani win in the end. after that advani never fought elections from Delhi

Khanna won because of his stardom....we all know how good politician he had been. Even Big B had defeated legendary HN Bahuguna. But these (Khanna/ Amitabh) sort of politicians are burden on people.
