Critics need not compare two agneepath. IF audience can judge a film and then critics should appreciate then there can be no difference between common people and critics. Older generation actors were bad and new generation is good,old films are bad and new films are good. How come? Can Taran Adarsh say this? If we liked Old Agneepath- is it bad?
AB did great job in First movie so sad it did not work commercially, but at same time new flick doing great job at box office. All credits goes to AB Senior for his award winning performance which made people curious as they thought HR would not be match for AB like SRK in Don remake

hype, marketing, ads will initially lure some of public to theatre but majority only go after word of mouth publicity

Bakwas Movie. Raja sen always support for Hrithik. He doesn't like kha, especially Sharukh. Don was a blockbuster, but not publised in rediff. Totally third class website rediff. Raja sen has to quit, in order to get best publicity for Rediff.

Believe me the new one is just 10% of the old one. Amitabh's Agneepath was way ahead of it's time.

Old Agneepath flopped because people never went to the cinemas to see it. People never liked Amitabh with Rajiv Gandhi in politics who was allegedly involved in Bofors corruption case. So whether Amitabh was great in the film or not was not the question at all. People just wanted to dump Amitabh then.

if it was so, then all of amitabh's films wud have flopped. as per ur logic, amitabh was associated with rajiv gandhi only when agneepath was released & not b4 or after that.

Yes, that's right. All his movies flopped during that period (when Bofors came up and Amitabh's name was linked with Rajiv Gandhi). He retired from politics and stayed away from films for some time after that.

The new one is as good as the old one or better. only good 10% is usual statement by older generation who think the old is always gold. If the old is always gold, I will be sending mails by Post. Here my opinions will be mailed to rediff. hahaha.. I do not know when the older generation will start to accept the next generation is better than the previous one. Only the parents accept their children are smart but not the whole next generation community.

that is why u feel so.. and that is what the karan johar is targetting n cashing on.. the audience who dont know or haven't seen old agneepath.. mostly younger crowd.. old is just gold dude.. these new ones dont even have guts to be original or set a new trend..just hanging on to classics n playing safe losers

Old Agneepath was flop b'coz people at that time didn't have much taste about movie that time. I bet if old Agneepath would have released now. it would be a huge hit
