If Amitabh would have come in late 70s or early 80s it would have been blockbuster like his other movies at that time.In late 80s his movies were not same like ajooba or something gangajumuna and agneepath i think one of the last movies as main lead.Nowadays whether it is khans,kumars kapoors ,all are marketing magic otherwise old is gold.
the fact that it worked proves that the new one is better than the old one when it released in 1990 it was rejected by one and all and now that the new version is a blockbuster only petty minds who cant accept facts are saying the original is better okay release the original now and watch how much money it makes and compare the PERFORMANCE OF VIJAY DINANATH ..accept it new Don and new Vijay are here...out with the old and in with the new
Even when i was looking at the promos of the new one i immediately recognized the missing spark. AB Sr. gave a powerful and memorable performance, probably his best ever. Few scenes from the older version were mind blowing and you could sense the boiling anger inside the hero in each of his dialogue. The scene where he confronts and kills the goon who kidnapped his sister in older version could make you replicate that feeling as if something similar was happening to your own sister and you just want to destroy the person who did that.
its because people who all have seen and heard about the powerful bomb Agneepath in 1990 who had these expectation that this movie is going to be in a similar format,,, and HR will be giving the same kind of perfomance.. the excitment created by KJ and the strong reports of old AGNPTH has given a good opening.. it may be the fact that the new movie may have had collected more money then the older one.. but if you ask people in terms of liking which one it will only be said the old one not the new one... and lets not forget that the sum collected by old agnpath in 1990 at that period if you put that sum in bank for 20 years than it would have been same as the collection of the new one released in 2012 for i would say old one is better movie and also has collected the same amount as the new one
When Amitabh dies in old Agneepath... we feel like someone from our family is dying, but when Hritik dies in new AP we do not feel like that. Its like some smugglur or some 3rd grade p*mp is dying. That is the difference between 2 Agneepaths.
Good Movie. But, Raja sen always support for Hrithik. He doesn't like kha, especially Sharukh. Don was a blockbustner, but not publised in rediff. Totally third class website rediff. Raja sen has to quit, in order to get best publicity for Rediff. I think sharukh doesn't pay to rediff.
