K786 is missing
by rebel on Jan 01, 2013 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

May be it's a slapstick comedy. It also didn't touch 100 cr just like Talaash didn't. But it's a hit movie and should have been included here.

Also for some movies, gross income has been shown whereas for others, it's the net Indian Box office collection. Why is this?

Talaash never touched Rs 100 crore! What a lie!
by infoharsha on Jan 01, 2013 01:16 PM

Talaash never touched Rs 100 crore! What a lie! If only Indian Box Office of JTHJ can be 121 crore, how can Talaash with only Indian BOX OFFICE be at 102 crore. Rediff stop this lie. If you visit Bollywood boxoffice or Koimoi, the collections of Talaash has stopped completely at 95 crore!

Talaash

Talaash had never good word of mouth publicity and the twist in the end was the biggest reason, an Amir Khan film was restricted to a business of around 100 crore. It was a negative word of mouth publicity everywhere.

SRK shares the profit. Gulzar, Rehman and Kat combined will be about 10 crore. The rest of the film is just outdoor. Indian Army might be happy with 2 crore for high security! So, can an extensive outdoor film be not made at a budget of 25-30 crore? Time for you to drop bias and hatred to SRK!

English Vinglish?
by pradeep menon on Jan 01, 2013 10:01 AM

How come English Vinglish is not featured in this hit list I think it was a big hit both in India and overseas considering the budget of the film which is definitely much less than the movies featured here ...it had made almost 85 crore worldwide
