Low budget movies
by GEORGE SEBASTIAN on Jan 07, 2013 01:55 PM

With mutiplexes increasing all over the country I think for producers it is best to make low budget movies like Kahaani(8 crores) or Vicky Donor(5 crores)instead of splurging 50 crores. But you need to have a decent script as you cannot depend on superstars.

How come everything Miss Padu-cone gets rave reviews for anything she does???? She is a terrible actress and I really can't remember in what major movie (that was a hit) has she played a substantial role!!!!! Either she has lots of money or really influential friends to publish paid articles regularly!

From where this figure Rediff got? In India alone it has crossed 139 crore net (highest grossier in non-public holiday released till today.. ( Looks like D2 will surpass it), and all over world (which this article meant for), is around 200 crores.. Please investigate in details before you publish.

please read as " gross box office recovery ( which this article meant for)..

Secondly, OMG is a small budget film, because its akki's home production movie, which he shared the profit rather charged his remunation..) and why it has mentioned 83 crores only ( in net it has crossed 90 crores alone), so by gross it should ve crossed 100 crores plus.

Please be specific and stick to your basic whether you are giving us gross or net figure..
