Shah Rukh was recognised for his enthusiasm for improving the educational standards of Indian schools and colleges, and his desire to make entertainment that also talked about humanity and the crimes of stereotyping as in My Name Is Khan.
After reading many such slideshows and speeches on rediff I can claim this is by far the most honest, down to earth and bubbling with wisdom. I am not sure if I like this guy but certainly his words this time around are top class! Kudos to all concerned.

There is some difference between education and sadakChap; you will always find some amount of wisdom and word of meanings in people like Mr. Bachchan, SRK etc where as some of the sadakChapHeroes cant do anything rather then making rickshawalasHappy.
Love you SRK. You are living the Indian dream. You came from a lower middle class family and despite losing your parents early, you still shouldered on and made yourself very successful in a industry fueled by nepotism. It would have been easy to give up and accept a ordinary life. But you moved to another city and fought adversity. I love your movies but I love your personality even more. Keep going :)

He is someone you can easily relate too. He was not born into a rich family but worked hard to become too. I am also from a lower class family and I like him and his words of positiveness.
Mr.SRK, Today You have joined the likes of former American Presidents such as George W. Bush, Ronald Regan, Jimmy Carter & filmmaker Sofia Cappola afetr giving a speech at Yale University. Congrats and best of luck for future. Proud to be an Indian. Jai Hind
