This review is undoubtedly the finest commentary on this movie. I watched this last night and felt the exactly the same about it...
It's a movie full of classic moments but a very uninspiring story-line..I have been a great fan of Pankaj Kapoor nd was eagerly waiting for this movie expecting a classic movie coming out of this charismatic actor...but I am hugely disappointed to see this....
the movie indeed had some classic moments... few have been rightly listed in this review but overall it has been a messy affair for Pankaj Kappor... I think his creativity has been somewhat blinded by his love for his son and in a desperate attempt to make a classic movie for his son, he ended up creating a damp movie... pankaj kappor forgot the basic principle of a classic movie, make it simple and real ..
these traits of his acting has actually made him one of the finest actor in India but while directing, he stretched his imagination too far to be able to connect the audience with the story-line... it is hard to connect to a movie where lovers find it so difficult to reach out to each other when they had cell no. of each other with them... (in one scene Shahid did call on Sonam's cell no. but never saw them trying that even ponce later) c'mon don't ask us to buy this logic that people can visit house to garland portrait of a dead man but bunch of letters would lie unnoticed for half a decade)... too loose ends for a classic mr kapoor..
To all the people who have stated that Mausam is below expectation.....actually the indian audience has lost the apetite to watch a full length movie. Pankaj kapoor being a debudant director has done an excellent job. The movie captures all the major terrorist activities in india, and with it is woven a wonderful love story. The large plot and complexity has been handled extremely well.

Keep a tamil actress as Kitty. They know how to perform and look simple.
I think shahid must paid raja sen to write bad review for his film ( from the reports movie seems to be really bad)so that people will think exactly opposite & watch movie.Though movie is bad friday occupancy was good.
