Tomorrow, if this movie starts a trend among youth for joining AIR FORCE, I would be one of the happiest persons. Even I'm fascinated from childhood by the Air Force. People go ga-ga jus by buying a mere bike costing thousands. Imagine having a contraption costing crores under your ass & flying under your command.
The biggest problem with movie is its "Storyline"...pathetic storyline...wasted the talent of the actors...went with big hopes and cam back disappointed...Beginning was encouraging with some good comic scenes and innocent love sequences...Shahid and Sonam looked cute...Climax is unreal and funny...Songa are good...Its kind of over strecthed...Pankaj Kapur has a long way to go before he can become a successful director...Though with the kind of script which these guys "tried", there should be a lot of emotion involved....however, a combination of poor direction & storyline failed to generate the "EMOTION" which it should have...Overall 2.5/5 !
I am a die hard fan of Indian Air Force and went for the Mirage 2000 shots and indeed from that point of view it was really the best movie so far in bollywood to have done some research on air force. But the rest the movie is O.K.
Shahid is a chota bachcha and has a long way to go. I don't think he can make a film hit on his own. He is popular with city girls but that's it. Even they are not going to sit through his boring movies. I hope, he develops acting skills and a good personality by the time his cuteness starts fading. And yes, he should stop copying shahruk. It won't take him anywhere.
Decade back we have three actresses Madhuri,Sridevi and Rekha . They can carry movie on their shoulders . These actresses like Sonam Kapoor , Deepika , Katrina and Kareena are more like a showpieces . When will someone bring back the charm and talent of these three actresses
