Agree with the author's viewpoint that superhero movies are based on suspension of common sense. Also the fact that reviewers have been outright trashing the effort - no matter what - this was NOT another Raj/ Rahul SRK movie, that itself is a relief! Indeed, everytime SRK is venturesome (Swades, Hey Ram) - he is thumbed down. Only Chak De India struck a balanced note. He deserves some slack.
Here's my disagreement though: (a) Those who think RA.one or Krishh are India's first superhero movies and only spending crores on Hollywood-ish SFX will get us there - two words: Mr. and India. (b) If you have to have lavish special effects - at least make is worthwhile with some sort of storyline to add spine( read: reason) to show them off. Rajnikanth (ROBOT) had a better story line, and FAR better screen presence to bank those SFX - and no! I'm not a Tamil/Madrasi/ South Indian to have said that (c)The raunchy jokes, and the typical south-indian accent and jokes, were in bad taste for a movie potentially having a LOT of tender aged audience. Period.
Sanchari Bhattacharya We dont watch movies just for the actors watching in film. You must be a fan of sharukh khan but that doesnt mean the movie is great. The majority is that the movie ra-one is BAKWAAASSSSS. And superhero films are a made earlier also,entertainment means entertainment, and you can see people are not getting that by watching Ra-One. We all can express our views if we get to write.
Not only is the movie hopeless, from the heading he has given to the review, the reviewer has shown that he does not even tolerate any view other than his own. People are not his slaves, who will just shut up because some idiot says so.

KIDS DONT WASTE YOUR PARENTS MONEY ON THIS JUNK STAY AWAY FROM SUCH MOVIES ITS BETTER IF WATCH CARTOON NETWORK OR SHAKTIMAAN SERIAL.
Dear Me, It's perhaps your love for the man that you have paid such glorious tribute to him and his production. But let me give you the views of my ten year old grand child. He has seen all Shah Rukh Khan's movies. He insisted upon his dad to see first day first show here in London. I did not go as I do not see movies, and certainly not Shah Rukh movies any longer (earlier I used to, though). My wife went to see to accompany my grand children. On return he said the movie was baaaaaad! So did my wife say so. She said she could hardly sit through the movie, though she was obliged to sit due to the kids. However, our six year old grand child liked it. The elder grand child compared it with a video game and said it was a baaad video game!
