if the film was about self less love..why dont we watch gulzar & hrishikesh da,s films..why do we have to get into karan johar...yash chopra..subhash ghai...bhansali typa magnum opus & waste of 150 crores..jst 2 put a simple sufi thought forth....anyways film making is not about cinematic sensibilities & simplicity anymore..as we have seen himesh reshamiya & emraan hashmi carry insipid films on their shoulders jst becoz it had good music..so be it..besides some croony tracks....this rockstar has imtiaz ali's trade mark dialogues written all over it...but gags dnt apply anymore about samosas/pani puris & men wearing talcum powder up till their throats...honest films r much about honest convictions...& this un confused whether its a psuedo film..a 70 mm tamasha or a simple love story ....whtever it is ...its enjoyable 2 the core...maybe coz we r all hungry for entertainment & love in our chaotic lives..but nobody wants to b victims of love anymore like the characters in this film..so its like a 70's aradhana in a european kinda film treatment....4 me....wht bout u guys..why dnt u jst go & watch it..so tht we see ur messages 2 soon on this board..go.hurry..coz its all about big brands & big names...rehman, ali & kapoor &how can one afford 2 miss it in a branded world of ours

itna lamba film review...film ki tarah hi lamba ho gaya hai...btw film story was un - believable from the start...a jaat boy from unexposed, uneducated & conservative(narrow thinkin) family surroundings..gets into jim morrison.....ha..ha...jhakar se morrison tak kaise bana pehle ye to batao...phir to psuedo ness badti hi jaa rahi thi..kaun kis college main kya karta hai ye janna zaroori thodi hai...dargah pahunch kar koi do mahine bas ga baja ke reh sakta hai..so romantic.....but still thanks to the filmakers convivtion about sufism....but sufism isnt about hypocricy...i enjoyed the film though & will see it again & again despite its flaws...coz its about love & has amazing music compositions brought well on screen..so i shud stop complaining..yeah but the tile rockstar is so misleading...please give me back the dvds of ALMOST FAMOUS TALK TO HER IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE anyday
one time watchable intensity flows like sine wave ranbir did a great job nargis was useless music is great Background music is missing imtiaz failed to make the best movie of the year It was good to see late sh. Shammi Kapoor in the movie. Larger than life. :-)
Loved Ranbir and Rockstar - Its a very intense and realistic movie...Its actually for audience who can feel/ hv gone thru/ understand intense love...Ranbir is good and Nargis compliments him well in the movie !!
