Except for Amir it is time for the khans to retire. They have made only few meaningful movies so far. Most of them are self promoted movies. It is high time that they start making good movies are move into obvilion.

Ra.One saw a record 70-100% occupancy levels all over India, with full houses in many multiplexes. The lesser-than-expected occupancy level was mainly due to the effect of Diwali festivities, which took a toll on the evening shows. The morning opening was described "historic" by several trade analysts. Generally, the 3D version of the film saw better occupancy levels than the 2D version. Families and children comprised the major demographics of Ra.One's audience.

On the first day, Ra.One collected 14.63 crore (US$2.97 million) from the Hindi version and an estimated 2 crore (US$405,600) from the Tamil and Telugu versions, taking its all-India total to 16.63 crore (US$3.37 million). It set records for the biggest Diwali opening day ever by beating Golmaal 3 (8.72 crore), The lesser total was attributed to a fall in evening collections, caused due to festive celebrations and pujas. However, on the second day, Ra.One set records throughout the nation by collecting 22.8 crore (US$4.62 million) in the Hindi version and hence surpassing the biggest single-day record in India held by Bodyguard.

King of Bollywood - After causing losses to his distibutors. BULL SHIT. Though even I agree Ra.one had a decent script but SRK messed with it big time. Kareena who did Jab We Met was useless in the film. The star of the movie was the little Kid who performed better than both the lead actors. I wish Ra.one script had gone in right hands it would have become huge success like VFX films in Hollywood. I feel the story was criminally wasted by SRK.

Dont blame silly remakes. Its bollywood dont have the capacity to remake finely scripted movies from south. Most of the national awards might have won by them if there was no bias in our Delhi committee. Landmark movies in Indian film history. Bollywood fans only like masala movies.

Yes, I agree with you, it is a decent movie. But, from begin to end it looks more like an attempt rather than an experience of watching a complete package of movie. In that matter, it is not much different than Dara Singh's super hero movie. In this age, from SRK, it is below par.

Sir, SRK would never make it to such platform. He does all non sense things for non sense people and becomes KING of BOLLYWOOD. Its high time to change or he will be thrown out like the other old Superstars of Bollywood.
