Brad Pitt and Will Smith may have millions of fans around the world, but Khan — or SRK to the faithful — quantifies his groupies with a few added zeros. He is the biggest movie star you’ve never heard of. And perhaps the world’s biggest movie star, period. In a country of 1.2 billion where movies are a way of life, Khan delights fans with romance, comedy and action, sometimes all in the same movie. (This is Bollywood, after all.)

i was impressed by the statement but then i read your name.. and then i thought... he doesnt have any other option :)
I watched RA ONE in Trichy,Tamilnadu. It is surprisingly good. Why are you guys firing on Sharukkan? Appreciate his endeavor. A well made film and even much better than ROBOT in some scenes. Obviously one can’t expect an honest storyline especially when it comes to a super hero subject. Didn’t we loud SPIDERMAN?

I agree with you. I just saw the movie in 3D & I thoroughly enjoyed with my kid. It's full paisa vasool, entertaining & great visual effects.

u say its better than robot? which scene is that ? haahahh. dont tell better than robot. it cant b. robot climax will never match for any of the scene of ra one. so keep quite. we never saw such graphics in any hollywood movie as in robot

FYI ....final scene from robot was unique i agree.....but the graphics ...it was just pathetic ......nd u say any hollywood movie ?????dude ....du evr watch good hollywood movies?........we indians way way behind in that dept...........

Mr. Jahesh please watch some of the following Hollywood Movies TRANSFORMERS: Dark of the Moon(2011) & Revenge of the Fallen(2009) / TERMINATOR: Salvation(2009) / AVATAR / 2012 / STAR WARS & I-Robot and write your comments here. ROBOT is not a movie that could not even be compared with a low profile Hollywood flick. Indian Cinema is far away from Hollywood Standards and we need to take immeasurable efforts to par with them. Perhaps movies like RA ONE and ROBOT is just the beginning. Cool.

@ Edwin Vimalraj... Not going by logic with a super hero movie is acceptable. But to the extent of making fool of the audience jus showing some vfx is jus good for illiterate low class first seat audiences to applaud. And we know you are one such.

ROBOT has great storyline. Yep!? ROBOT is a great masala movie ever made in our INDIAN Cinema blended with latest VFX technology. How will you justify the story of a man made machine falls love with a quintessential beauty and take revenge? Does it mean that it has a great story? You must separate out super heroism movies from other genres and one should not expect a story from it but should enjoy only its visual extravaganza.
Otherwise great storyline movies mean something should like TITANIC, SCHILINDLER’S LIST, BEN HER, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, Black Hack down and THE PIONO,etc. Is it possible from RAJNI or SHARUK?

Vimal, at least you should nt tell this watching this movie after seeing Endhiran?(probably you might have seen). it is completely inspired and made an inferior Robot like movie (including introducing to public, sense of love, creating different version of its own in climax, train sequence). Thankfully he didnt love kareena after hero's death.Rasul pookutty might helped to bail out in some scenes. otherwise completely copied from Robot
SRK does it again with Ra.ONE an awesome special effects movie with rocking music and songs... Critics are pulling down SRK caz they want to be in the NEWS and all of us know in India those who talk Negative are in limelight..thats y all are saying negative about Ra.ONE... It has a great potential to be a successful franchise as can be seen by the Overseas collection.... SRK you are fantastic and hope you make more such movies...
