Mallu jury members have to play down their own actors. Otherwise only mallu actors will win everytime and the jury members will be accused of parochialism. When the stardard is so wide, they have to do it otherwise no bachan or khan will ever win any award! Different standards for different people.

You seem to take only the negative aspects of Mallu films. Some of the renowned films in India were made by mallus not of the genre of blue films. You shd be serious in watching the variety of malayalam films, and not go by a few 'A'gradefilms which are there in every language

its nt like in recent times..dat ws d situation b4 20-15yrs bak..stil den der wr gud movies..nrecent releases in malayalam industries r well watched with families
