Taare Zameen Par, Three Idiots and Lage Raho Munna Bhai were really touching movies which made my eyes wet. Of course Chak De India was also very moving. Hats off to the Directors and actors who bring so much realism in the roles that a person becomes part of the plot, starts flowing along with and gets carried away emotionally. There are very few movies which can make u cry.

oh k...so u too cried watching lage raho munnabhai....wen the whole world was laughing...ha ha ha....
This movie is not for the weak hearts. The last scene in the movie and the realism is just unbelievable. The villains dont shout but their chilling laughter and voice will disturb u so much.Last scene is just incomparable to any movie in the recent past...

Absolutely true - Kamal's crying on getting to know his daughter has been wasted by villians is too shocking and poignant...

Yeah..these two idiots know nothing other than lampooning others while compering for awards nights. Their own movies have been miserable and made the movie watchers cry for their lost money and time.

Innocence of Sree Devi notwithstanding, Kamal Hassan made me cry a lot in the last scene of the movie.

Think it is the remake of an assamese movie, which was shown on DD1 which used to air national award winning movies on Sunday afternoons.
An art movie, in those days considered boring, but worth every minute and which provided a strong sense of family love, devotion and sacrifice

The Assamese movie was "Son Maina" and was also the inspiration for Chiranjeevi starrer "Vijeta" which won Chiranjeevi a lot of brownie points among the family going audience, probably because of the emotions and family values involved.
Incidentally in the assamese movie, the son wants to be a cricket player for India and not a footballer. funny irony as football is more popular in Assam and cricket in hindi speaking india.
Hazaron kwaishein aisi is the most soul stirring movie. It depicted almost all aspects of human emotion and the other one was Ankush which Nana patekar gave a stellar performance
