Naina ji, Amitabh cannot even convincingly play an old man. Pls. remember the film Muthu also came when Rajini was above 50.. He convincingly played both an old and young man. Do not think of comparing limping old cattle like Amitabh with a tiger or panther like Rajini. If you compare the way Rajini has maintained himself at this age, it would be a big lesson for not just Amitabh but also the so called younger brigade who go to the gyms at least 3-5 times a week, if not daily. Rajini has maintained his body supple and flexible by doing yoga and by having clean habits like not smoking or drinking. Besides it is in the south that cinema is considered as a product for entertainment. That is why Rajini is not afraid to show his white hair or any other facet that shows his real age. He does not pretend like Bollywood biggies. Ask Anil and Rishi Kapoor to show themselves around without their mandatory dyed hair. Then you will stop harking the way you did. As long as he is fit, lean and mean of talent no one will stop Rajini from acting with anyone or any age. Whats your problem, better reserve this kind of advice for Amitabh. In acting skills he is not even up to the knees of Naseeruddin Shah or Om Puri. Less said the better about his son. Give this garbage to someone else dear Naina.

Agree that salman,aamir,sharukh are 45 but do they look like.. They maintain themselves to look young. Aamir Khan in 3 idiots played role of 22-23 year college guy but for that he didnt used any wig,special effects,make up os duplicates and stuntsman as rajni..
they are 45 but they maintain look themselves to look 35 and someone who looks like 35 can never be called a old althoud 18 years girl may cast opposite them

only in the South. Are you out of your mind? His films are a rage worldwide. Pls. let me know in case Amitabh's or SRK's movies are having any decent run in Tamil Nadu? He is a much bigger star than all the other super-stars in Bollywood. Even in Malayalam the status of mammootty or Mohan lal or now Prithviraj can never be achieved by bollywood stars and the same applies to Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja etc. in Telugu cinema. all these stars have bigger status than the biggies of bollywood. You are coming from mentally backward and poor in education belts of North India. That is why you dunno the difference between good and bad make up. High class prosthetics are seen by you as waste of make up. Pls. remember that both Amitabh B and his son have both given a minimum of 10 to 15 flops in a row. Even Balki's PA had to eat the humble pie because of the 'stature' of these two 'Superstars'. Yes, you can be reassured that Rajini will never be able to match such high class 'feats'.

You are right...but can Amitabh pull such a hit consistently even at this age? - i doubt. Also just being a south star he could able to match the box office moola's of great khan's. I'm not a great fan of Rajni, neither he is a great actor like Mohanlal, Kamal, Naseeruddin or Nana Patekar, he is a crowd puller in south and everybody likes him for his simplicity. Just watch the movie Endhiran and see urself, whether does he look like in 60's - i bet not.
