with the bit about Bob Hope. Anne Hathaway is hot. But a good host of the Oscars she is not. As for James Franco, well, he was clearly better in the movie. But then, my favourite Oscars host is Jon Stewart. I doubt that'd find much favor with anyone. :)
For the first time I agree with Raja Sen. Hosts failed to lift the mood and fe awards in important categories actaully raised questions about the fair judgement of the judges. TSN and Inception no doubt deserved awards atleast in best director category/ best story category.
I hate Raja sen. But for the first time I agree with him. That too 100% Inception's Nolan deserves a nomination. I wont vote for him for the best director though. David Flincher did a better job as director than Tom Hooper. I wished Jesse or Franco won the best actor, though Colin Firth deserves it. Best film.. mm could be any TSN or KS.. but TSN will be remembered and admired over the years for sure. KS will be forgotten soon. One thing, I wish didnt happen, was nominations for true grit. How can Cohens nominated for a movie that is a remake. They are great directors and might have made a good movie too. But please not a nomination for True Grit.
Watched first time oscars live.. and Franco spoiled it spectacularly. Academy plz find a better host next time.
