People know Rajni only by his recent movies. One should watch his first 5 movies to know his acting skills. Whatever he is now is because of what people wanted out of him. By far no one will put 150 crores for a Amitabh or a Shahrukh starer movies - the so called superstars of Bollywood. I'm not a Rajni fan, but one cannot deny the above fact.

you are neglecting rajnikanth based on his current cinemas but do u know kind of movies he acted were crirically acclaimed and won many awards internationally and even he recieved many awards before decade and half ago...... he is now making action movies on demand of his fans

Raj Kapoor was never a good actor and had it easy due to Prithviraj. Sanjeev is good but not in top ten. Pran Sikand has also been very underrated. Acting was also much more difficult work in 50s/60s. No AC buses to relax, 100s of retakes etc. These days even a monkey can be made to look good.
First of all no one will agree with these actors list.Pankaj kapur very few know about him.If the intensity is concerned Nana patekar is far better than him.How can anyone leave Aamir Khan and include Shah rukh khan.When it comes to acting how is Rajanikant find a place here. Above all how come Amitabh find place in number 3 position..He should and will always be in 1 position.Serious bias here..How come Kamal get a position more than Amitabh...Non sense..This is absolute wrong ranking...Amitabh should and must be No 1.....and Aamir should be in top 5 and Rajanikant/Pankaj kapur shouldn't be there..
left out aamir,included sharukh.. left mohanlal,included rajni.. sivaji ganesan,ompuri nowhere in the list The title of the article should have been "some of the best actors of India"...

Sivaji is the greatest actor in Indian cinema history... He is above all such things.. he is incomparable...
