This filmfare award is like a joke these days. SRK getting Best Actor award for his below par acting in MNIK is shocking. More shocking is that Karan Johar has got Best director for MNIK and Dabaang, the best movie. Just cant stop laughing. Hrithik surely deserved an award for his spellbounding performance in Guzaarish. Forget this duggu, you have the capacity to win a National award.
This is all a drama to show that Filmfare awards mean a lot to filmstars and they are given after really considering the merits. Hrithik is very close to SRK and these days both of them are playing many games in the media. But Hrithik did deserve an award. No doubt about that.

haha.......i read in Indian Express(aka Masala Express) that the HAKLA did it again...so SRK won another gimmick...truely he is the best actor but not on screen ....a fabulous one at off screen..
why was big b awarded for 40 yrs there are many more artistes who deserve like dharmendra for 50 yrs or even rekha or devaanad such chamchas or must be that big ba paid to get this award to be in the media circle shit this awards
FIlmfare awards must change his name to 'Shahrukh-Chopra Faimily awards'.The choice and credibility of filmfare awards has been on decline since late 90s.I stop seeing the Filmfare awards when it gave the best actess award to Juhi Chawla for 'Hum Hai Raahi Pyaar ke'. Filmfare is ardent follower of Chopra family, earilier to Bhatt camp, and Shahrukh. The Ritik's performance in Guzzarish truly deserved the award compare to the overacted performance of Shahrukh in 'Khan.'Dabbang'won the award for best film.Dabaang is nothing more a typical desi maasala of bollywood. Is it better film than Peepli, Udaan, Phas Gaye Obaama? But what you could expect from the total headless & bias jury of Filmfare? Zee & Star Screen are much fare & sensible awardees.

Filmfare awards are POPULAR awards and made on the basis of VOTES polled from the lay public. It has a separate Critics' award too where an eminent panel decides the winner. But Shahrukh Khan getting an award for his outrageous hammming in MNIK is really pathetic!
One knows 25, 50 or 75 but an award for40 years in Indian cinema! What a joke! This is one of the most stupid category Filmfare has invented.
This is only a moronic attempt by Times of India Group to mend its relations with Amitabh who was extremely upset with this group when Mid Day, a part of TOI group published a rumour of Aishwarya couldn't conceieve because some ailment she suffers. The Bachchan family boycotted last year's Filmfare Award for this reason.

Mid day is owned by Khalid Ansari, who was a famous sports editor with TOI long time back, before he started his publication in the name of inquilab publications. He is no way connected to TOI
