Indians esp North India are Fair skin biased....I can conclude this is based on the comments we get to read on rediff ....And that too only on South Indian actors!
Like someone said...Dhanush looks Uglier than Rajni.

Why DONT you say Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Whoppie Goldberg are ugly...coz they are Americans and from Hollywood.
You look at Denzel and say what an actor.....Which is fair.
Similarly...look at the acting of Dhanush and you will say "What an actor"
For god's sake...we respect an American.....what cant we respect a fellow Indian. We should be happy we have such good actors!
An American was telling me....."You Indians are lucky...you dont have any skin color issues like we have in the US".... I was like..."Yeah Right!..go to Rediff discussion boards and and you will know better"

Let me add something. It's not just the north Indians who're obsessed with fair skin. Almost all heroines of the Tamil industry are fair skinned, I'd say chosen for their eyecandy quotient rather than acting talent. Doesn't it say that Tamilians too hold double-standards? Tamilians identify with their dark-skinned heroes and through them fulfill their fantasy of having a fair-skinned lover. What say?

north indians are also not white not even proper brown in many places. only some groups like jats and punjabi,kashmiri are a lil over the average skin colour. actually north indians are obsessed with skin colour. Indians are not Caucasoids as some wants to be . Indians look generally the same exception north eastern states and kashmir valley. sorry to disappoint you

I have seen some of this guy's movie and i must say he is a damn good and talented actor. While our SRKs & Akshays suck at acting, actually south makes really meaningful and entertaining movies. We should appreciate that
