Why so much of abusing...
by Bolbo San on Jan 23, 2011 09:58 AM

Why so much of abuse based on the region/state? Especially comments about a person's skin colour, looks (or abusing parents in retaliation) is in extreme bad taste. We talk so much about racism, but this is indeed more than that!
Coming back to the movie. A regional movie normally stay to its roots and caters and that region's sensibilities. It may not be appealing to a person in the next state, but thats the diversity we're so proud of.

Guys, if you have anything to say about the movie, please participate, else if you have constructive criticism then also fine.. Please do show your ignorance or make racist comment about actor, his color, looks(always making lame comments), i know there are many people who are morons, jobless people who wants type random keystrokes, which is time and space waste and can only give sadistic pleasures...

A different world
by karthick anand on Jan 22, 2011 11:46 PM

Watched this movie today. Overall very good and I must say the first half was awesome.

There is no flashy glamour and no glitzy sets yet it narrates a very original story of an unusual group of people and yet never confuses the audience.

For Dhanush this is one of his finest performances and the heroine is an inspired choice. Hats-off to the director who shows great craft and maturity, all the supporting cast perform admirably. Overall I definitely recommend.

every body is a hero.

days are gone, when things are seen as either black or white. its good to see tamil cinemas with other regional cine industries(telugu, malayalam, bengali, marathi) getting/competing for a respectable place in world cinema. Wish kannada industry too, would return to their time-of-glory very soon and make the space more competitive/productive. Unity makes sense only when diversity gets preserved and gets its respect.
