The Wikepedia credits Shahrukh Khan as the biggest movie star in the world as his fans outnumber other actors. One of the few people who make us proud to be an Indian..

wikipedia is not the last word - its just an entry made by people anywhere. if that particular boards' filled with srk fans - then we'll surely have the universe' biggest star! lols. well according to that post, it says he has billions of fans - thats a stretch by any measure. not even 30% of indians are his fans. add to that some numbers from gulf, im pretty sure it would barely even touch a billion!

no, thats not what he meant, he wanted you to gauge srk's popularity. but that wikipedia entry is blatantly false. in india, most of the southern states dont care for srk - he'd have some fans in the urban areas and that too probably from hindi speaking crowd - im talking abt the masses. so that cuts out about 30% of the population for sure. then there's hell of a lot of competition between the 3 khans, amitabh, ranbir, akshay, sanjay etc etc. the gulf might have a lot of fans - but then again there's this divide amongst fans for diff actors. srk having billions of fans? well that's just a pipe dream!

Who is the world's biggest movie star? Brad? Will? Nah. His name is Shahrukh Khan, and he's the king of Bollywood. It's not just that his romantic flicks make gazillions - it's where those gazillions come from

You Know, Some days back, some people were found in a jungle who never went to school & never watched TV in their life, A News anchore asked about Do you know Manmohan Singh? The Answer was 'No', Aishwarya Rai?, 'No', Aamir Khan? 'No', Amitabh Bachann, 'No', And one 14 yr old boy answered "YES", to Shah Rukh Khan.. that's really strange and then get belief of his stardom.. And according to a survey 325 crore people knows who SRK is? More than Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt... And some oh his last movies, per screen avarage,, beats top stars of Hollywood.. SRK may not be a great actor but he is blessed with immense popularity and fan following.. Not just in India, His market is very wide in US, UK, Australia & NZ, And now Egypt, guys MNIK run for 15 weeks in Egypt,, unbelievale and great.

is it justify to compare 70 years old man with 45 years young, who is ruling this industries more than 42 year on that time even TV was not there, electronic media was not there, internet was not there, yet he was 100 time populer than shahrukh on his younger days, shahrukh is also admited it.you can compare him with shahrukh when shahrukh will be on 70 years age.

Absoulety right! even my father(orrisa) who is 68 years age, he dont know shahrukh but very well know amitabh, and my son who is 8 year old he know shahrukh but he is also fan of amitabh bachachan, means in every age group you will find amitabh bachachans fan, i dont know if shahrukh will be on 70years age, he might be retired.

Is he good looking?? Somebody please confirm. I have not seen as an ugly looking actor as he is in the past 30 years or so.

I am sorry to say that but out of 10 I am not going to give him even 1 point thats because I dont think there is really anything in him as far as look is concerned.

Rediff is crazy. The DON 2 is not a new "look" SRKs adopting. It is only the first scene of the movie where he is in prison, and thus of course, has grown hair whilst in captivity.

When he comes out of prison, he will be back in vintage SRK look.

My friend told me this, she knows Farhan Akhtar and she has seen the shooting. It is still in progress.
