I agree with you on the point that 'overhyped'. Most actors like Imran hasmi, imran khan, sonakshi sinha, abhishek bacchan are overhyped by the production houses and news channels as u rightly said because of money.
If only the movie had SRK as one of the husbands who eventually managed to turn PC around from her hubby killing routine -by singing lovey doveys , cliche'd dialogues & ham acting in wonderous KJo style european locations... ... you may have liked it a bit more - eh Raja?? :) LOL
Its a typical Vishal Bhardwaj's film made for selective ppl who like his kind of movies. The movie is good a bit editing was required post interval. Acting, direction all was good. This is second women oriented movie this year after NOKJ both from UTV and their efforts should be appreciated.
It's not your typical Bollywood movie. I am not sure where Ruskin hails from, but Ms. Chopra plays a liberated woman. It's not about family values. It has some gruesome moments, it has some very clever lines. And it makes you wonder if the church is also dead. Her last husband just takes the cake. I went to see it because of all the good male actors. John Abraham really looked outrageous as an Axle Rose type of steroids, a stoned drug addict, a drug addict kicking cold turkey. Amazing. The whip fight was no joke either. I felt the most for the Russian husband. She tried to give him an out, but he just had to push that envelope and opted for marriage. Her three henchmen were also a scream. I found it to be very amusing. And I loved that song O Mama. We are one world now for sure, so are stories are going to change in some ways and remain the same in others. But that's okay. Stretching our taste buds is not a bad thing at all
