It's commendable that she is one of the few mainstream commercial actress who takes up the challenge to do such roles.Who ever thought that she will evolve into such a fine actress when we saw her first in the movie "Andaaz"!!
I am not sure ,if one should even respond to Raja Sen's baseless reviews, because everytime someone responds, I feel we really give great importance and reverence to this man.But cannot control myself and end up writing.Not sure if this man even understood the movie....why does he not give credit to someone who dares to take up such difficult subject and make a movie.Raja Sen as they say "satiya" gayaa hai....
After a long time saw a climax that was absolutely unpredictable and blew away my senses !! Just fabulous. The characterisation,camerawork,back ground score,screenplay, truly awesome ! The movie may not get a commercial box office success but will always be remembered as an excellent work of cinema.An INTENSE roller coster ride through thrill and suspense as Susana encounters her 7 husbands !! can you elaborate on the climax.. who was the seventh husband or khoon? the climax?
Susanna and her seven husbands were first adapted in Indian Cinema by T V Chandran in the year 2001 and the title of the movie was 'Susannah'. It was made in Malayalam and Vani Viswanath played the title character. She was considered for National Awards for the same year.
Who do these critics think they are? Your job as a critic is to give your opinion about the movie. How can you say an actor is just not good enough? Who are you to say that? It's bullshit!
