Amir khan can't perform this role well .. everyone know that he always overacting . Check Tamil and Hindi Ghajini .. Sury acted much and far better than aamir .. most of the scene aaamir over acted and does'nt came that much face expression .. SRK also not suitable .. best choice is Ajay Devgan

you better watch south indian SINGHAM and Ajay Devgan's SINGHAM.Then you judge Ajay as your best choice.
amir khan is not a versatile actor. the roles he does in his movies are roles that can be done by any other actor in india. the only thing that works great for him is that he selects good scripts. so again he is an ordinary actor who acts in movies with gud scripts. the audience will not be frightened with this new villain.
Well, the villains of the Dhoom movies are not conventional villains, but anti-heroes. On a count of the good, the bad and the ugly, they, to my mind, may be termed as the "bad", in the domain of Brutus, Karna, Othello or Dilawar (played by the late Amjad Sahib in Muqaddar Ka Sikandar")
As an actor, Aamir's competence is time tested. Of course, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan or Manoj Bajpai may have also been worthy of this role.
Again, the above mentioned points are only my humble opinion.
the reason for his getting replaced was bcos at ending of film he didnt want to get beaten by sunny deol and felt it will ruin his image and also he wanted ending in such a way that the villain wins. due to this his relation with yashraj films turned sour but later they made up with fanaa in which ironically he apart from playing villain gets killed by heroine in end
strange thought why is yashraj always asking aamir to play negative roles [if you ignore parampara that is]
in dhoom sequels the villain gets paid more than the hero who is just a token, in this case abishek bachchan and loser uday chopra
hritik was paid an exhorbitant amount for dhoom 2 and so will aamir who is obviously doing it for the money and not for creative satisfaction

parampara was directed by yash chopra but not produced by yash raj films so as far as yash raj films is considered this is their second outing with aamir
aamir would be perfect only for gay, romantic and girly roles. He plays characters which should be played by someone 20 years younger than him like in 3 Idiots. But that is bollywood for you. 40 something actors romancing 20 something actresses. Ajay Devgan would make the perfect villian for Dhoom 3
