Execllent choice..earlier he played the villain in the art house film 1947 earth...what a performance it was... then Fanna he played the lover with grey dhades.. n now an outright villain in a full commercial action..oh! man its like Ed Norton playing the villain in Italian Job...how excited im for the film now :)
Some people are right as far as now a days movies are concerned (they are having only screen presence). Best example is SRK don, only screen presence - no substance. And dhoom2 lost its sleek version of the Original with dances of hrithik, John abraham has given dhoom 1 a sleek look with his raw intensity of a villian which is lacking in dhoom 2
John has really given a great starter for a real franchisee like dhoom.
So certainly as Aamir is different, somewhat good can be expected than our screen gods SRK and hrithik, dances are unnecessary in a lethal movie like dhoom
Screen god worshippers better stay away atleast from fast paced movies like dhoom and dont spoil with rahul and aryan mixup

you got me wrong, screen presence became synonymous with guys like srk and no no substance, but Aamir brings altogether a different charisma to the role.
I was answering to somebody who said Aamir does not have screen presence like srk or hrithik
