There is no mention about kannada movies where rajani had acted before stepping in to Tamil.The movies were 1)Katha Sangama 2)Galaate samsara 3)Sahodara Saval In the movie sahodara saval, Rajani was acted with The late popular kannada hero Vishnuverdhan.one can watch it in u tube.

rediff is right, it was SP muthuraman who cast rajni in a positive role. He was introduced as a villian and play anti-hero roles earlier

No. It's correct. "Bhuvana oru kelvi..." was directed by S.P.Muthuraman and that was the first film Rajini did a positive role on screen.
