What non-sense. 70% of India is not malnourished. you just clamour against the Indian customs. This is how culutres are killed.

Even those who are poor will try their best to find some sort of happiness when celebrating marriages, festivals and other things part of the culture. These are all happy moments, celebrate it to the xtent possible.

Dude what a pasamastic view.
first of all not 70 % of Indian's are malnourished....and without a roof on their end. If you read or be informed, as per new data, 30 % India's popullation is poor, an that also means they don' earn enough to maitain a good lifestyle..not all of those 30% are without a roof or cannot get food.
People like you potrait a bad image of India.
Now coming back to above pictures...what's wrong with it. We all know they are rich people and they have their way to celebrate occasions. Just like even a middle class or poor people spend money on good occasions according to there capacity, Bachanans are doing the same....whats wrong ?
Just because we cannot afford to celebrate the way they can do, we don't have to critize them......

Why are you getting so jealous?? The Bachchans have made way for themselves and achieved success by sheer hard work. What have you achieved? If you have, why don't you too celebrate with such a grandeur instead of criticising others? Get a life!!

Let the rich spend more and more in a lavish manner........that is the only way the money locked up with them would 'flow' down to the business and people who support the event as vendors.............
