BTW, Kolaveri D's whole appeal is its simplicity, its ordinary tune, its substandard singing and its lyrics which while being an insult to Javed Sahab's sensibilities, is refreshingly approachable across India and across large parts of the world.

i'm a great fan of south and north indian classical film songs...i'm a die hard fan of lataji...some songs of lataji fill my eyes with tears... but we cannot be looking back always Javedbhai... aap aur hum kahenge acha nahi..but this is the order of the day..public and youth want this ...we need to change in tune with times otherwise... we are left behind... I will not treat Michel Jackson a classical singer in my wildest dreams but he was a Music God for many....Enjoy with the times... When there is a rage hit and we do not like... it is a sign that we are getting old and are not in tune in with times...we then need to fine tune ourselves.... i observe that my sons keeps singing this song all day...
