WATCHING AND REWATCHING HIS MOVIES AND FOLLOWING HIS PERSONA FOR NEARLY 5 DECADES I FELT THAT DEV SAAB CONVEYED A SENSE OF IMPERISHABILITY,INDESTRUCTABILITY AND IMMORTALITY .WHO ELSE CAN EVOKE SUCH A SHOCK AND DISMAY AFTER DEATH AT 88 YRS.DEV ANAND NO MORE IMPOSSIBLE!

Friend u can say useless. The people who do not know herbs often call them weeds. See the wave of Dev Anand even after he left this world. He was a man who gave new direction to Hindi Cinema and bridged the gap between bollywood and hollywood.

I think you misunderstood the concept of cinema from entertainment point.Any good film made and became popular in India has great music and songs, irrespective of actors and genres.Even Sholay had great music. Does it make the stars acted any less? Dev is a true entertainer. May his soul rest in peace.

I really dont know what happened to you guys. If some of you dont like him, dont watch his movies. For few of us, he was one of the greatest actor. May be for you, some third rated actor may be best.. It is all your choice dear.

I had grown watching Dev Anand’s movies and believed he is etenal and will live for ever. So hard to believe that he is no more. Not only me, many more thought the same. His death drew such unprecedented response from all quarters, be it, film world, politicians, sportsmen, critics and above all common people his fans, No Indian film personality’s death ever drew such appreciation, love, tributes unanimously from all over the world. I spent my childhood in Meerut. There was this joint family in our neighbourhod having 8-10 family members. The day we found 3-4 cycle Rickshaw waiting outside their house we knew that a new Dev Anand movie has been released. All of them will go together ;from 3 years to 70 years old; for the first day show of Dev saab's movie!
