Apart from above mentioned treatment anahydrous glycerol injection into 5th nerve ganglion, baloon compression of ganglion,neurectomy and gamma knife are other modalities. Microvascular decompression is the best option if a compression by vessel can be demonstrated and can provide long term relief.
