What to expect from bollywood?
by Amit Deshpande on Aug 25, 2011 09:33 PM

Mahesh Bhatt why don't u concentrate on making movies? you always are against goodwill of common man? any connection with Congress?

Sonam Kapoor / Bipasha, thanks for supporting anna.

Rahul Bose - improve your acting... you are surviving in the industry only because of you luck. there are much better actors than you.

Ram Gopal Varma - i am sure you want to make a movie on this !

Shabana Azmi - yes the bills should be debated. But the fact is, it should be accepted for common man.

It is futile to expect the MumbaiFlimIndustry run on blackmoney to support the anti-corruption drive.

Ram Gopal Verma's observations are correct.

Yes, it is said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. You have examples of Libya and Iraq to name a few. The question is how do we stop those in power, to remain free of corruption, especially in a democracy like ours? Those who are part of corrupt practices shall oppose any cleaning up effort by tooth and nail.

Rahul Bose sounding foolish

With such a wide coverage and participation of such a large number of citizens there is no room for any doubt that Anna Hazare's approach is indeed democratic. He is asking the same democratically elected parliament to view and discuss the bill. What was undemocratic was the arrest of Anna and baba Ramdev. The leftist, the world over have failed their nations and the countries like China have also shifted to middle, but our home grown leftists do not wish to change. Hope they learn by example.

True Democracy
by Shashank Amitabh on Aug 25, 2011 06:37 PM

Parliament's supremacy is very questionable right now.PARLIAMENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FORUM WHERE THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE DISCUSS,APPROVE & FRAME LAWS TO CONVEY PEOPLE'S WISH & SAFEGUARD PEOPLE'S INTERESTS.OUR PARLIAMENT IS ONLY LOOKING AFTER & FRAMING LAWS TO PROMOTE CORRUPT & DEFEND CORRUPT PEOPLE.REMEMBER ELECTED MP's & mlas ARE NOT GIVEN IRREVOCABLE LICENSE TO KEEP RAPING THE PEOPLE FOR NEXT 5 YRS.IT'S HIGH TIME WE THE PEOPLE MUST DEBATE THE PRESENT PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WHICH IS PRODUCING & PROMOTING THE CORRUPTS IN THE NAME OF DEMOCRACY.

Pseudo Intelectuals & Lumineres

All the so called Intellectuals,MPs,MLAs or Any Other Group or Persons have not explained as to which provision in Jan Lokpal they object to & why ? I have critically read each aspect many times & i find it to be a very good beginning. It MUST be passed as a first effective step to reduce corruption & then move forward towards Electoral reforms. All those who are opposing it without explaining the reasons behind their opposition ARE the real beneficiaries of corruption.Corruption is benefitting less than 1% people whereas 99% are victims of corruption.Even now if the 99% who support it KEEP sitting in their drawing rooms & enjoy the show on T.V, then not even GOD can save us from from this cancer called CORRUPTION.The least one can do is to COME OUT on the streets & show their strength to the government for Jan Lokpal.
