SIR, ONE MORE LEGEND FROM GOLDEM ERA OB BOLLYWOOD HAS GONE. NO OTHER ACTOR HAS GIVEN SUCH ENJOYABLE MOVIES LIKE SHAMMI. IT JUST SHEER PLEASURE TO WATCH HIM DANCE TO SONGS SUND BY THE GREAT MOHD.RAFI. HE IS NOT WITH US PHSICALLY ANY MORE BUT HE WILL CONTNUE TO ENTERTAIN US WITH HIS FILMS FOR YEARS TO COME.
Very sad to know that Shammi Kappor. He gave Dev Anand, Raj Kappor and Dilip Kumar run for their money with super hits in 50's and 60's. His combination with Shankar Jaikishan and Rafi saheb gave some of the greatest hits. May his soul rest in peace.
Riteish Deshmukh,Minissha Lamba,Neha Dhupia etc speak as if they have spent entire life watching shammiji acting! rediff should have atleast spoken to actress like SAIRA BANU ,SHARMOLA TAGORE and taken their opine!

Whenever I saw him, I felt like he'll do something silly and he always lived upto my expectation. He was the silliest screen actor I'll ever see. His overacting is always appreciated.

ACTOR LIKE SHAMMI JI WAS EVER SEEN IN BOLLYWOOD.HE WAS A GENIUS & HIS ACTING WAS GOD GIFTED.INDIA WILL ALWAYS MISS THAT GOD GIFTED PERSON IN FUTURE ALSO.
Very sad to know Shammi Kapoor is no more. Though all of us are aware his end is fast approaching still his demise is difficult to bear with. I have enjoyed all his films & it has coincided with my early part of my life. Wonderful films with most memorable songs with his enjoyable dances. I am still unable to understand wherefrom he gets energy to dance like he used to. Will we ever get another Shammi kapoor? we will always remember him for ever. May his soul rest in peace.
It was sad to hear about shammi kapoor. His acting was brillant. His style of dancing was great. Movies like kashmir ki kali, professor, junglee and many more will be remembered for years to come. There will be no actor like him for generation. He wwill be missed for year/generation to come
