On the whole, AARAKSHAN communicates an engaging story with very relatable characters. It's a movie that is truly inspiring and thought-provoking, but at the same time, its running time [almost 2.45 hours] is a deterrent. The film is mired in controversies ever since Prakash Jha announced the project, but the controversies will only enhance the curiosity-value for this film. AARAKSHAN not only works as a film, but also as a tool to drive home a forceful message. It's a daring, heroic, commanding and an engaging film that shouldn't be missed!

BS, Arakshan like movie rajniti is Making money by acting more miserable and low than the lowest.
Making money by acting more miserable and lower than the lowest has been the mindset.
that is the Motive behind of all JHA movie is to Act or Show themselves as more miserable than the miserable to BEAT DOWN the miserable. Be more low than the lowly.
Very conflict oriented movie that wants to make money out of conflict. MADE BY VERY LOWLY CHARACTER jha who wants to rake money from controversy, manipulation, conflict. This movie presents no solution, but puts salt on the wound and puts forward a lie that salt is sugar.

Again, there is another fool maker movie Arakshan. Arakshan applies same philosophy by certain class in bihar, if there is something miserable out there. then, make something much more miserable like Arakshan or Rajniti.
Such thinking is brainchild of those sections that were ejected from UP and forcerfully acquired tribal lands all around Bihar, Bangladesh, bihar, Orrisa, etc. thus there is movement among tribals to reclaim land that has been seized for mining ( and tribal made somewhat dream tech workers), industrialization, rural, etc. tribal want to re-learn their tribal life and have respect for it that made them survive for thousand of years.

then, get weird actors ( Katrina, Saif, padukone, etc) from a whole different section of cinema to gain audience , etc.
Anti Reservation is the biggest draw back..for India....even Dr.Baba Ambedkar who had drafted all the constituional laws after India got independence had mentioned to stop the Anti Reservation policy after 5 to 10 years...but truely this Congress have made this as a weapon for vote bank. Indian government whether its Congress or BJP or any other Government who are ruling and which ever party comes in next election should bring a law which should be equal for everyone...a Common Law where every one will be considered on the merit list.
Commercialisation of education system could be due to caste based reservation, deserving students don't get admission or job because of this so called so reservation. People take advantage of this which results in establishment of private colleges and institutes.

My dear sir, This issue please do understand what the politicians and mainly congress has done.This 50 percents reservation has been 100 percent solution for this congress and other politicians. There are only two class one is richer richer and another on is poorer poorer, Main enemy is CORRUPTION caste/religion/langauage are not. Our constitution expected within 10 years the poverty from the poor class in name of their caste will be lifted. If former President of India Mr KR Narayana/ present politicians Lalu/Ram Vilash paswan/Mulayam Singh Yadav/Uma Bharati/Bahan Mayawati if we consider their caste means we are fool. Really we are fool. Reservation is being given to Rich people upgraded people is not wrong. No poorer among those poor is given any opportunity of the reservation. In name of surname reservation is given to the children of collectors/IAS/IPS/Ministers. IS IT GOOD. AND FOR THIS WE ARE BURNING OURSELVES. IS IT RIGHT. HOW AND WHY WE SHOULD CREATE ENEMY OURSELVES AND GIVING PRIORITY TO THE POLITICIANS. WE SHOULD ASK QUESTION TO THE RULERS WHAT AND WHY THEY HAVE NOT UPLIFTED POVERTY TILL TO DAY FROM THE CLASS WHAT EVER ITS NAME MAY BE.
dont know that the problem with this reviewer on rediff..it is an outstanding movie. i dont think reviewer watched it b4 writing review..go and watch movie..a high voltage drama, performance of manoj and saif and bachchan...again in line with earlier movie of prakash jha..
