Ridiculous... Both this article and the claim... Julia Roberts in eons ahead of Karrrreeeena (Did I get the number of r's and e's right..?). Kareena is still a novice and I have not found ANY of her films AWESOME... At best, entertaining... But nothing remotely near to the calibre of the films that Julia is known for...!!
PS : But then when money talks, crap walks in India..!! Kareena just a size-zero, a jawline, a blue bloodline and shrieking wont get you anyway near Julia..!!! You need to act..!!
Wow man, I always thought so but never could bring myself to mention it. Now that you have shown me how easy it is to share one's opinion, let me give it try.
I think the likes of Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Denzel Washington and Leonardo D Caprio are all hyped names. The world's best artists/actors are right here in India in the South. Rajnikant, Mammoothy, Chiranjeev, Venky, Mohandas, Prashant, Khusboo, Gautami, Sridevi, and Bhanupriya. Shiny Ahuja is the best among Hindi actors but he was lucky that stars like Asif Sheikh, Ronit Roy, Puru Rajkumar and Kishan Kumar(Aja Meri Jaan) decided to leave films and move over to more challenging roles in TV and other famous fields. Look at Annu Malik, what a great singer and music director; A R Rahman learned the ropes from him. He is certainly better than those half-bottom guys in Hollywood. And man even our SatTV is amazing; can hollywood ever compete with even a single aspect of our serials on Star Plus? It's time we claimed our superiority over Hollywood and take our rightful place. The world needs to wake up to the fact the Filmfare, Iffa, ZCA, NA and not Oscars, Golden Globes or Emmys showcase true talent and greatness. One more sentence and I am gonna puke!
