Its not serious acting.Rajani has a style and not definite acting skills. If u really want to compare acting, try Kamalhassan from South. There are variety of audiences - one who like art movies, family movies, animation, thorough entertainment, etc. So instead of fuming, take it lightly.

It reminds you of 'The Prestige'
by Ratan on Oct 13, 2010 07:13 PM

The plot and the visuals indicate a possible link to the 2006 Hollywood film, 'The Prestige'. Guzarish may very well turn out to be an original story, but one can't help doubting the source as Bhansali has never been known for original ideas/ stories.

Aish you should set a good example- what with all the young and old watching you smoke.
Its painful to see that when the West has given up smoking our"so called Bollywood stars" are glamorising it, when its proven to be the Number. 1 cause for cancer worldwide..

Behave in a morally/ethically correct way!

Do Not give West as an example. West has no society concept left because of the various foolish actions they have done in the past. The result is they have big problems with drugs , infact a larger percentage has taken some form of drugs in their life resulting in mental and physical health problems. Alcohol intake is also very common and a big problem as well.

I do not encourage smoking but remember that it is way less severe atlernative to drugs, alcohol and other form of addiction. The alcohol,Pharma lobby is using the media to tell people to stop smoking resulting in people switching to alcohol and pain releivers, anti depressants.

Most Indians live in a cocoon. They base their ideas of Western culture based on what they see in media just like West does it when looking at India. Majority of people in US are NOT drug addicts. A small 4.7% have done some drugs in US. Please check your facts before posting. As far as society is concerned there are many academicians, scientists, writers, poets, directors, philanthropists, social workers, teachers who are coming from stable families in US. If there was no parental support and family values none will be able to excel in their fields. A superpower such as US cannot be built by a bunch of drug addicts. On the other hand India has highest number of AIDS/HIV cases, a big alcoholism problem in the poorer classes (which is a majority for those living in their middle class cocoon).
As a society west is far better and caring towards their citizens than India is to their impoverished. The number of volunteering organizations in US is astounding. Having lived in US for 20 years I can tell you that only probably 3-4 of my friends have done drugs and most of my friends are Non-Indians. Indians come to US and associate themselves with other Indians and don't bother to assimilate and try to understand the US culture.

I wish you live you remaining living years in the US. If possible try to blog on only US forumsas India doesnot want your lectures or opinions. A guy who has left his motherland has no right to judge her.
