There is a movie in Bengali called Wheelchair.... Its one of the finest movies I have seen on Paralysis and other problems.... It is highly recommended for people who love good movies.... Even for people who are not Bengalies the film has subtitles.... Its really an awsome movie...

Susmita is a young lady. She works in a big company as a steno-typist. One day Susmita was entrusted by her boss to type some important documents. Susmita continues her work till evening. She was almost alone. Then three young man enter the office compound. They waited for Susmita to come out. They pull off the lift switch. After completion of her work Susmita comes out and finds the lift immobile. As she steps down the stairs, the three jump on her. Susmita struggles to make her free. And in the course of struggle she rolls down the stairs. Susmita’s neck hits the stain. She becomes senseless. Susmita admitted into a hospital where doctors find that her vertebra are damaged. That causes her neck to toe paralysis. Dr. Mitra a famous neurologist runs home for the neurological patients. He is paralytic too by accident but it does not prevent him from continuing in his profession, all with the help of his wheelchair. Mr. Chatterjee, Susmita’s office boss, takes the initiative and admits Susmita in this home, unfortunately now the home faces an economic blockage. Government stops the aid. The owner of the home wants to close down the home in exchange of a profitable nursing home. Dr. Mitra is all against these odds. He also takes Susmita’s case as a challenge. Susmita comes into close contact with Santosh who is a physiotherapist at Dr. Mitra’s home. Susmita’s treatment goes on Dr. Mitra does it with efficiency
