This is an excellent movie. At the release of surya's Aadhavan every reviews said that it is an average movie.But Aadhavan turned out to be a "BLOCK BUSTEr",3rd highest grossing movie of 2009 following Ayan,unnaipol oruvan. That is the "Surys's factor". Same can be seen in Singham. It will be another major hit in Surya's career within a few days. we can meet at that time

Aadhavan was a super-hit, not a blocckbuster. There ws only one blockbuster in 2009, and that was AYAN only. Aadhavan got the third highest profits in 2009 (Rs. 6 Cr profit). UPO was 2nd highest with rs. 7.50 Cr profit. Ayan was the highest profit maker, which made around rs. 12 Cr profit. I have statistics, so dont bother arguing with me.

My dear friend trishna,You are right.your statistics is right. Aadhavan got 3rd highest profit.But you should remember an important point.unnaipol oruvan is a small budget film. Aadhavan is a big budget movie. I believe that Aadhavan has earned more than unnaipol oruvan.But compared to cost unnaipol oruvan earned more than Aadhavan.I am respecting you.you are perfect in responding to me.you should also note this point"in our country superhits and blockbusters are listed in same rank".Based on that i said Aadhavan is a bockbuster. again i am repeating that u are perfect.i am respecting u

thank you syamkumarkm. Well, in that case, i have to then say that Aadhavan is a Blockbuster. But i'm happy your accepting other people's successes, unlike others (i.e. Sura) who are just so obnoxious and narrow-minded, and refuse to believe other people's sucesses.

please dont compare Singam with Sura. Sura is ultimately the worst film (from a top hero, that is) that has emerged from Tamil Nadu this decade. It was worse than the biggest Kuppa called Villu. Singam is a good and decent family entertainer. It's better than Aadhavan in terms of performances of the cast, but the comedy of Vivek wasnt that great (I mean, Vadivelu was awesome in Aadhavan - he saved the movie i think). So yh, go and watch it.

I wish though that the actors dont scream that much in both Tamil, telugu and kannada movies.. It just defeats the purpose of acting. Why scream? when you can convey it in serious normal tone..
