Kites is a brave experiment to penetrate west audience beyond NRI's. Normally Hollywood movies also don't have any stories only stunning stunts scenes, cinematography and special effects makes movie Hit. Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori is impressive. Very good effort as compare Hollywood Movies. 1. Shrek Forever - No Story only Animation 2. Iron Man 2 - No Story only superhero fighting with evils.

I totally agree with the reviews and I think this is the worst movie of the year so far. They have just fooled people bu creating so much hype and publicity. Better stop watching such crap B grade movies with A grade stars
I am a fan of anurag basu and We went with high expectations. It's so cliche - 80's bollywood kind. Think of it - A man goes in rampage killing people especially in US and no one cares about? The cops around look like mere security guards! There are sooo many "readers dont digest" factor. The scene where they board trailer from a car - Man! The trailer driver doesnt stop driving inspite of all the acrobatics the leading stars perform.(it doesnt work this way here in US).. all the car fights, cop cars thrown around..How did ne re-enter US from mexico? Where's the border patrol? We are more matured that this and we know how it works in US. C'mon! Stop fooling around.
The review is amusing, but not very accurate. In any case, very few films appeal to just about everyone. A have met people who were unimpressed by 3 Idiots, even. So its all a matter of personal taste. Kites was not made for people who make films like Housefull and Atithi... a hit. Most Indians go to the movie theatre to escape reality, and Kites is a movie that is a bit too close to reality for comfort. Who wants to know that if you piss off a real baddie, the baddie will crush you like a bug, not the other way around? Not many.
I have gone to see this movie second time on monday night show after my office time the theater was completely housefull and people are seeing the movie quite happily no mobile talking or ringtones are heard. media who condemn the film are sold

Mr Pradeep, to make a good film sizzling chemistry and good cinematography are not enough....
You need a good story to say the elast.
Mr Roshan spent crores with a very lame outcome.
Sorry to say that did not even find sizzling chemistry.
Even Hrittik and Amisha had better chemistry than Hrittik- Barbara.
PS: Why do you need to add the NewZealand factor to your review???
