Never seen such a bad movie....can't even imagine....that rakesh roshan would be producing such a movie and hrithik roshan acting. Wathcing this movie is simply waste of time and money...

U might be among one of the victims who were unable to segregate the present and flash back scenes .... It is awesome movie , just try to put stress on your brain to understand , it is not at all difficult to interpret it .....
Story started in a quite impressive note...its like watching a romantic play or reading like a Shakespeare's novel...But once the story reached the romance between Barbara and Hrithik, it loses its plots. No need of police chasing them....total waste of time, energy and money...
Again beautifully shot mexico..expected something more here....The plot could have handled better here too.
Again there are so much loose plots which can be made through by avoiding unwanted action scences..
Kites had a great plot..if it has worked properly it could have been a great movie...if Anurag basu wanted to keep it to realism. then no need of Unwanted action sequences...
I have no prblem in watching a slow movie if it is beautifully shot..just like saawariya..or khamoshi...
But appreciation should go to Anurag for making a brave movie
Though it is slow, it is one of the best love stories of modern times.
The music is a bit dissapointing.
Though there was not much scope for dancing in the movie as it was not a typcial bollywood movie which has many dance sequences. the first song delivered a strong performance by Hrithik.
Hrithik, looked like god, the only time i got reminded of him being human is when we could see his two thumbs.
Barbara was good.
The movie would do good even if it was released in Mexico, as it is a third english, a third hindi and a third mexican.
Direction, though it started off a bit slow, was good overall.
Dissappointment was the music, it was not bad, but had it been good, it would been a super hit.

ONE OF THE MOST CONFUSING MOVIE IN RECENT TIMES...WE ARE CONFUSED WHICH IS FLASHBACK & WHICH IS REAL TIME. ONLY GOOD THING IN THIS MOVIE IS ONE SONG & ONE DANCE OF HRITIK...BUT CAN GIVE THIS MOVIE A MISS IF YOU WANT !!

It's an excellent movie, don't know why bad reviews!!! it's a different film! amazing photography, music and stunts.... watch it in a good movie hall....you will love the film
1st indian movie to get in to top 10 in US. Check IMDB US top 10 now. Good reviews in LA times and San Francisco chronicle..dont know whats up with desi reviewers.. Maccus are liking it in US and of occourse..first bollywood release in 37 countries..something to be proud of...
Kites is just watchable. And it has failed to impress the audiences. Here's my analysis: (1) A good movie must have a good story, Kites lacks it (2) Anurag Basu fails, his earlier movies (Gangstar, Life in a Metro) are far better (3) Rakesh Roshan fails, his previous movies (u know the names) were much better (4) Rakesh Roshan fails, composition are just okay, not as good as he gave us before, let it be Kaho Na, etc. (5) As far as BOx Office is concerned, we all know that its not always connected to a good movie. You can make million prints and get back the money within first 3 days' show.

watching a movie is not about solving complex business problem it is about plain entertainment...take a chill pill....this movie is plain entertainment ..not a moment of boredom...people go watch it it is total paisa vasool......
I have not seen the movie yet, and so far the people have given more negative comments collectively everywhere than positive comments... but so far it is doing a great business overall...songs by KK are really good... have told that movie grossed over Rs21 crore on the opening day in the country — the second highest ever
