When IPL is going on what else to expect?
by anup kale on Mar 30, 2010 04:13 AM

Looking at cast of most of releases, looks like no leading actors in main roles. So commercially sensible people stayed away from any releases during this period. People already exhausted with bollywood presence in IPL.

Rediff Reviews

its too difficult to trust rediff reviews and the way they declare a flim to be a hit or a flop, means like most of websites and news channels declared karthik calling karthik, LSD,Road movie to be hit, but here its showing tht these movies flopped.

watching a movie in India is a costly affair..who will watch such movies. bollywood shd concentrate on quality of movies and not on quantity. And pls stop copying hollywood scripts. Just day b4 I saw a movie call overboard whose script was copied in salman and neelam's ek ladka ek ladki movie scene by scene. Have some originality guys and then evertime some hollywood movie becoms hit u try to show Indian talent in it.

LSD was not a FLOP
by surya das on Mar 29, 2010 07:54 PM

Rediff, before you post the box office report try to get correct figure and result.

LSD which has made merely 1.2 crore, has already surpassed 6.5 crores in it's first week, then Sappit which had made in 3 crores, also made around 7 crores business in it's first week. Both movie should be declared as HIT in terms of their business and critcs point of view.

LSD flop?
by ramen das on Mar 29, 2010 06:37 PM  | Hide replies

why these trade analysts r finding it difficult 2 accept tht an uncoventional film can be a commercial success...is it because it makes the conventional power houses feel insecure?

totally disagree with LSD being coined a flop...a flop/hit should depend on film's budget...with just 1.5cr investment & the reaction that it has created; cant see how it can flop...

its not a flop, most websites and news channels declared it a hit, dont trust rediff reviews, u just picked up a gr8 point that a movie with just 1.5 cr investment cant be a flop, atleast it will earn something.. so dont go by rediff reviews, they are very very biased
