THe only thing missing in 3 idiots was the hero not winning nobel prize in science, otherwise the way movie was progressing - seemed the hero had superbrain and was all things to all people.
I guess all the winners of the 82nd Academy awards were justified except Sandra Bullock for Blind Side. I am not saying her performance was not good, but when you compare her with stalwarts like Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren and their performances in Julie and Julia and the Last Station respectively, she didn't stand a chance. I really thought Gabie Sidibe had a greater chance of winning for her classic performance in Precious. I guess just in this case The Academy went with popularity not perfromance. Avatar did win the awards it deserved to win, but I guess Hurt Locker had a better storyline and script. Although I was supporting James Cameron to win the best director just for introducing a breakthrough technology in movies.

No disrespect to Jeff Bridges, but Renner should have go it for Hut Locker. It was a lifetime performance. Bridges got it probably because it was his time. Like Scorcese, Pacino etc.

I agree abhishek it was a big let down to have bullock instead of Sidibe....
Avatar is really a path breaking movie and it deserves more awards. Especially the music by JamesHorner was awesome and he didnt get it. I think the novel concept behind the movie didnt impress the jury besides the movie being a great success allover the world.
The 82nd Annual Academy Awards.....Wow! Jeff Bridges won the Best Actor, The Hurt Locker wins 6 out of 9 it was nominated in. The best picture and Bigelow the best director.... The Hurt Locker rocks! Sandra Bullock's was a surprise win though..
Americans cant digest the truth shown in Avatar ..as to how the Americas use their brutal force to capture areas that have substances of their interest as shown in Avatar
