Rediff reviews are going from bad to worse. It is clear that either the reviewer does not know his job or that he has received some incentive to promote certain actors and talk disparagingly about others. He had the audacity to list PAA has one of the ten worst films in 2009. Now giving a poor review to Road is the last straw.

Salute to Abhay Deol. Brilliant actor. Devoted actor for good cinema. Dev Benegal directed Road is a nice movie...different than usual Hindi films. Stunning cinematography. Satish Kaushik is excellent too.
I am not a big fan of bollywood yet the script of this movie sounds interesting. A protagonist meeting three bystanders, the ride and the accompanied moments. If Indian movie to evolve, they have to come out of the cocoon of directing mindless comedies, sentimental fables, hindu-muslim riots, NRI's (Rahul, Prem, Chopra's),mafias and goons. Raja sen wud have given a gud reviews to the above categories had he been fond of the actor/director. He thinks of himself like Roger Ebert. Funniest thing about him is his commentary on movies like Hurt Locker and Blind Side
