Wonder why an accomplished person like Ash needs to talk about what movies were offered to her in her earlier days and how directors were keen to cast her in the past..blah blah...Is it insecurity or self-boasting...Ash knows better.
And she mentions something about balancing tamil and hindi movies in her earlier days...wow...what tamil movie u did other iruvar, jeans and KK..(And her language pronounciation was so bad in all of that)
Really Ash..please refrain from giving such insensible info in interviews as these days customers...(I meant movie goers and common people) are intelligent enough to know better.
If any talk about your movies, the characters you play or the products you endorse...and stop at that...And dont beat your trumphet again on being in Cannes Gala magazine...which Indian audiences care two hoots about...
Instead work on getting a national award or acting in a acclaimed role in a acclaimed movie at the international level....till then hope you can be a bit more modest...

she is invited to cannes not because of her "movie contibution"but only because she is the brand ambassador of loreal, so suck it up
I doubt Aishwarya has the talent. She seems and behaves "cold" in her character. She is unable to make the audience really feel her character or make us move by her performance. I don't understand Mani Ratnam of why is he blowing the trumpets about her. Is she the only artiste his eyes can see? Vikhram, superb actor. Abishek, disaster. He still moves around under the shadow of his father and wife. He lacks the talent too. Both husband and wife are taking the opportunity to ensure that both are in the same movie just to uplift each other's market. He moves around like a block of wood. In GURU, when Aish is seperated from her husband and he returns to fetch her, the scene should have been more expressive and make the audience feel each and every inch of a woman's feeling. Instead, she is not releasing her true emotions as far as the movie is concerned. I am not at all impressed with her acting. In Pink Panther, was a un noticeable performance. She is nothing in that movie, just making full use of her time in movies which will not stand in audience mind for long. Some simply get lucky without any talent wherelse some even with talent but can't shine in the limelight. what a pity?

i totaly agree with you.. and complete comparision of abhishek has come in dhoom where he stands agains hritik.. one can feel the zero energy zone on screen in abhishek.
I think its time that this ex miss world hangs up her boots and bids adeiu to the Fillum world. The most use less as an actor she was, through out her career. Nothing worth mentioning. Dont know wy This Mani Ratnam likes to cast her and her stupid hubby together.

There is nothing to be jealous of her. Just making a statement based on her acting, nothing more than that. What she has we might not have but what we have, she might not have. So all of us are gifted in one way or rather
