Ranbir has really taken on the old bollywood bunch. His swashbuckling performance must be making even the old Khans to quiver. I can virtually hear their knees knocking for fear of losing the new audience.
Any film that make you fantasize is waste of time. stay away. Any movie that make u face real life, show you plain reality of daily life is worth watching. it trains your mind to live in present moment which is very esential to live a successful and happy life. No overdrama, no over acting. movie like 'wake up sid' of ranbir kapoor are good.
Indian film producers have got talent. India has its own culture and tradition of centuries.Indians have their own original customs, behaviour, system of thought etc. Yet why do these producers always have to plagiarise ideas from a western film all the time. It's always the same.Guess they are too lazy to do anything original. They just steal it and save time and energy. The world naturall laughs at them.
At last Manoj and Nana got opportunities to deliver, which they did and showed their class.India has lot of potential and we cannot keep these great actors intellectually and financially hungry...
Similarly Naseer also got his pocket money for atleast one money,he need not depend on others to buy him sandwich for atleast next one month..
Similarly roles should come to the following actors who should be allowed to live with dignity:
Om Puri:seems he is running out of money,no role offered by bollywood for long
Anupam Kher:missing him..
Raghubir Yadav:A PipliLive is not enough for him to sustain his family.
Pankaj Kapoor:We have made him depend on his son Shaheed's stipend these days..come on..he is a great actor, show some respect..he should not be allowed to run after his son for money..
Vijay Raj: After that wedding tent construction Monsoon wedding,I donot know where this guy is lost.Is he still in jail for drug posession in Mauritius?

Most of the names that you have mentioned above apart from Vinay Raj are doing well. Like Pankaj kapoor owned 3 restaurants 2 acting classs and many more.
Fron where u got these facts.. in dreams?.. Do some yoga and owned some peace (shanti) and do justice to ur name.
The guy lived in NY for 5-10 years since his teenage can't do hardcore rajneeti as showed in the movie. Also, I don't understand what are they eating before having sex but all three times (Nasir,Ranbir & Arjun) they had sex with their respective partners and they all get pregnant!!! Also, as Sooraj has killed their father, why Ranbir want to kill Veerubhai instead he should target sooraj first to take revange. Also, I don't understand why Ranbir have to do it by himself in the end, is he running out of funds to hire goons!! In reality people of his stature don't do that by themselves but hire goons to do that. Plots and screenplay looks amateur in some parts, overall good masala movie but not reality movie as Zha's previous one like Apharan.Manoj is best out of whole lot. Ajay and Nana is underutilized. Katrina is good.

I agree with Raja Sen. The script is horrible and the characters are all one-dimensional.
The character least believable is that of Ranbir Kapoor's - a caricature of Michael Corleone with no sufficient cause. The plot could have been so much more convincing, but alas, Jha is more content with bombastic dialogues and less meaningful screenplay.
The old Kalyug movie is much much better.
The ONLY actor who delivers in this movie is Manoj Bajpai.
Most irritating is Jha's 'interpretation' of the God Father & Mahabharata characters. I am severly disappointed.
good 1st half - movie looked interesting poor 2nd half - mixure of mahabharata and godfather. 2nd half screenplay seemed to be a gangster movie rather than based on a politics scenario. this movie failed to interest me..2/5 stars from my side...

it wasnt so bad.....i mean when a non sense film like housefull (unwatchable) can get 2/5 raajneeti can easily get 3/5... it was fine but there were many unnecessary killings...too many!! but still it ws nice....manoj bajpai did a really good job and for him we can watch the movie..
