MNIK is one of the worst screenplays from Karan johar....
Even KKHH had better screenplay.
No other character had any characterization other than Rizwan.
Even Mandira's character was shoddily written.
The theme was definitely good, and going over the top is very much done in indian films, but all said and done, it was too much over the top and tooooooooooo unreal.
When a government starts putting restrictions on exhibiting a movie, it generates extra curiosity on the part of the viewers to see the parts that Govt wants to suppress. This explains its outstanding success in the US. Long live the freedom of expression !!
Please watch recent release 'Leader' in Telugu which is a true representation of politics..Shekhar Kamula has directed it and Rana Daggubati has done justice to the lead role.

katrina was there to show the how politics is more important than any relationship for samar......but yeah the kiss and all was not req btw ranbir and tht gori...

Surprise package for me was Katrina. I think it was her best performance in terms of real acting skills so far.
